Mr. Altin Nanaj is the Principal Attorney and the founder of Nanaj Law Firm, PLLC. A first generation immigrant himself, Mr. Nanaj immigrated to the United States from Albania in 1999.

Mr. Nanaj earned his Law Degree in 1997 from the University of Tirana Law School in Tirana, Albania. He also earned a LL.M. in 2009 from Wayne State University Law School, in Detroit, Michigan.

Mr. Nanaj is currently admitted to the practice of law in the State of New York, Immigration Court, Board of Immigration Appeals, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Mr. Nanaj is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the first and the largest immigration attorney association in the United States. Also he is a member of the American Bar Association and New York State Bar Association.

Mr. Nanaj has extensive experience in immigration law. Since 2000, he has worked in the field of immigration in various capacities, as a Contract Immigration Court Interpreter, Immigration Paralegal, and as an Immigration Attorney. Such diverse exposure and hands on practice to different aspects of immigration law, process, and practice, have well-equipped him with valuable experience put to use to the benefit of his clients.
